How we work
ITSA provides structured, evidence-led Clerk of Works and construction quality assurance, giving clients clear visibility of site risk, defects and close-out actions.
Before we start, we agree the project priorities, specification, reporting format and risk areas so the service is tailored to the appointment.
We inspect with purpose. Each visit focuses on the areas that matter most to quality, compliance, safety, durability and handover readiness, including workmanship, fire stopping, service penetrations, façades, roofing, temporary works, internal finishes, M&E coordination, drainage, external works and defects close-out.
We work independently but constructively, building professional relationships with the contractor and wider project team so observations are understood, defects are rectified and lessons are learned as the works progress.
Reporting is clear, practical and evidence based, using photographs, location references, plain-English commentary and recommended actions so everyone can see what has been observed and why it matters.
Where issues are identified, we help create a clear trail of action, ownership and close-out. Defect trackers can be added to reports or maintained as shared live documents, giving the project team visibility of open, closed and ongoing items.
The aim is simple: inspect early, explain clearly, evidence properly and protect the client’s interests throughout the project.
